The future of Retail - Decline or renaissance?

For our February London event we are delighted to welcome Nick Taylor and Federica Pietorgrande as our guest speakers.CPD

Our topic for the evening:

Retail is in crisis: Looking at news over 2017, whether it featured Black Friday, the Golden Quarter or January Sales, you can always find negative press, especially when someone created the term “Retail Apocalypse”.

Retail failures are often blamed on Amazon or inadequate omni-channel presence and if all excuses fail - the weather, or so we’re told. Except it isn’t quite like that…

…is a retail renaissance beginning to emerge? If so, what does it mean for our industry?

Cyber is a top risk for every business in every industry. When breaches happen the losses can be catastrophic with losses of millions of pounds an hour not uncommon. GDPR will force an increase of reporting of breaches which will stimulate an unprecedented demand for skilled cybersecurity services across Europe.

Do you start to take cyber seriously in the boardroom?  Jim will shed light on the darknet and give you 3 key questions ask your company to allow you to begin to lift the rock.

Jim is a leading thinker in cybersecurity and regularly contributes to media output like Guardian Labs, WIRED and BBC Worldwide.
